NEPSE slips back to 939.54 level; drops by 6.2 points

NEPSE index fell down by 6.2 points or 0.66 percent to close at 939.54 level.

NEPSE Sensitive and Float also dipped by 1.16 and 0.49 points to close at 199.81 and 66.12 levels respectively.

Among the sub-indices, Banking dropped by 5.36 points to close at 818.91 level.

Hotels (2001.78) and Development (793.22) dipped by 41.63 points and 8.72 points respectively.

HydroPower (2173.05) and Finance (532.42) slipped by 10.3 points and 1.18 points respectively.

Manufacturing and Others managed to remain at 1482.18 and 704.91 levels respectively.

Altogether 383,837 unit shares of 121 companies were traded through 1,029 transactions worth Rs 122.70 million.

CHCL, NLIC, PLIC and GBIME were the top traded shares.

APEX, YETI, NBBL and KMBL were among the top gainers of the day whereas MPFL, SADBL, GLICL and SFL were the top losers of the day.
