NEPSE slips 3.1 points; Turnover below Rs 200 million

The only index of secondary market of Nepal dipped down by 3.1 points or 0.33 percent to close at 942.02 level.
Similarly Sensitive and Float also slipped by 0.51 and 0.28 points to close at 201.88 and 66.42 levels respectively.
Opening at 945.12 level this afternoon, the local bourse slipped down to 939 level till mid trading hour and thereafter remained at that level throughout the day.
Altogether 447,799 unit shares of 120 companies were traded through 1,301 transactions worth Rs 174.05 million.
Banking dropped by 4.99 points or 0.6 percent to close at 831.17 level.
Similarly Development (792.47) and Finance (529.91) slipped meager 3.5 points and 0.22 point respectively.
HydroPower (2188.10) and Manufacturing (1491.24) gravitated 5.94 and 2.8 points respectively.
Hotels (1942.47) and Insurance (3819.84) plunged by double digit of 27.99 points and 20.92 points respectively.
Others was the only sector to land in green by recording surge of 11.74 points or 1.67 percent to close at 716.65 level.
PRDBL, NNFC, SHBL, PIC and NIL were among the top gainers of the day.
SYFL, JBBL, WDBL, NBB, SRBL, PICL and SDBL were among the top losers of the day.
NLICL, NBB, NLIC, EBL and SRBL were among the top traded shares.
