NEPSE shows signs of revival after three red days; Index gains 7.35 points with Rs. 1.79 Arba turnover

After three continuous days of closing in red, NEPSE showed signs of revival today. The NEPSE index gained 7.35 points (0.49%), ultimately closing at 1,495.15.
Overall 22.9 points volatility was observed during market hours today, with the highest point being 1,500.15 and the lowest being 1,477.25.
4,180,816 shares traded hands to produce a turnover of Rs. 1.79 Arba. 190 companies shares were traded via 23,297 transactions.
Float index gained 0.36 points and closed at 103.40 while the Sensitive index is at 299.47 after gaining 0.83 points.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited had the highest turnover Rs. 27.55 crores, and closed at Rs. 859 per share. Shares of NRIC also traded the most today.
Salt Trading Corporation (STC) gained the most 9.99% today. It is tailed by Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) and NRN Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha (NLBSL) in terms of percentage gain.
Meanwhile, NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) lost the most 9.86% today. After an impressive winning streak from the day it was listed, NRN has been losing for a few days now. This can likely be attributed to profit-taking from the initial shareholders.
Banking and Hotels lost today, with Hotels losing the most 0.33%. Intriguingly, Trading gained a massive 8.58% among sectors that gained.
