NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss: Market Capitalization Stood at Rs. 44.06 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, falling by 12.53 points (0.47%) to settle at 2,649.11. This follows a 12.04-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,661.56, touching an intraday high at 2,692.50, while the lowest point was 2,648.48. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 10.20 Arba, with 24,011,014 shares traded across 300 companies through 88,955 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.06 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.71 Kharba.

Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 66.1 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 744.20.

Four companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.30%.

Among sectors, the Hotels and Tourism Index posted the highest increase of 6.24%, whereas the Finance Index saw the highest loss of 3.38%.
