NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Loss: Market Capitalization Stood at Rs. 43.25 Kharba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 32.93 points (1.25%) to settle at 2,595.97. This follows a 24.76-point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,628.81, touching an intraday high at 2,631.82, while the lowest point was 2,594.01. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.14 Arba, with 21,547,055 shares traded across 310 companies through 87,302 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.25 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.59 Kharba.
Dordi Khola Jal Bidyut Company Limited (DORDI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 75.73 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 359.90.
Joshi Hydropower Development Company Ltd (JOSHI) led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Among sectors, the Hotel and Tourism Index registered the highest loss, losing 3.13%, while the Mutual Fund Index saw the least loss at 0.37%.
