NEPSE Settles Today's Session With Double-Digit Gain; All Sector Closes at Green Except Trading Sector

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit gain today, inclining by 27.49 points (1.01%) to settle at 2,745.65. This comes after gain of of 6.94 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2719.65 and reached an intraday high of 2,745.79, while the day’s low stood at 2,717.96. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.28 Arba, with 7,478,562 shares traded across 335 companies through 53,014 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.82 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.62 Kharba.

 

Hotel Forest Inn Limited (HFIN) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 13.86 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,073.00.


Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (TVCL) Led the gainer's list with 10.00%. The Stock closed at Rs. 561.00.


Meanwhile, Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SWBBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 6.54%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 757.00.


Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain by 1.87%, while Microfinance Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.16%.
