NEPSE rises by 0.47% closing at 1,264.36 in green; Turnover stands at 37 crore

The NEPSE index has risen today by 0.47% or 5.9 points closing at 1,264.36 points. The total turnover for today stands at Rs 37.31 crore, with 13.7 lakh shares traded via 5,342 transactions.

Similarly, the sensitive index has gone up by 1.08 points or 0.4% standing at 271.6 points. The sensitive float index also went up by 0.43% reaching 86.25 points.

The market today had opened at 1,258.95 points and slowly moved upwards ultimately closing in the green zone at the end of the day.

Shivam Cement (SHVM) had the highest turnover today amount at Rs 3.01 crore. Similarly, NCC Bank (NCCB) got the highest shares traded at 1.01 lakh units traded.

The top gainer for today is Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha. It went up by 9.87% closing at Rs 423. Likewise the top loser for today is Reliance Finance going down by 5.26% closing at Rs 126.

The subindices, today, ended in green for sectors except Finance, Non-life insurance and Manufacturing and processing. The manufacturing and processing sector lost the most going down by 12.88 points. Whereas Microfinance sector gained the most climbing by 13.68 points.
