NEPSE remains above 940 level; turnover amounted just Rs 125.10 million

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) slipped meager 0.1 point or 0.01 percent to close at 942.30 level.
However NEPSE Sensitive gained 0.09 points to settle at 200.28 whereas Float dipped by 0.14 point to close at 66.29 level.
The notable point was today’s total turnover which drastically decreased to Rs 125.1 million.
Among the sub-indices, Banking loosed 2.61 points or 0.32 percent to close at 819.40 level.
Similarly Development (795.05) and Finance (533.79) plunged by 2.05 points and 1.65 points respectively.
HydroPower dropped by meager 1.24 point to close at 2166.80 level where as Others managed to gain 9.4 points to close at 715.48 level.
Hotels (1950.32) and Insurance (4065.19) surged by double digit of 22.68 points and 11.12 points respectively.
Altogether 311,620 unit shares of 120 companies were traded through 1,155 transactions worth Rs 125.10 million which included Rs 3.5 million of manual turnover.
Shares like SBI, NLIC, CHLC and PCBL were traded maximum today.
IDBL, HAMA, KBL and NLBBL were among the top gainers of the day where as JEFL, NBBL, APEX and KMBL were the top losers of the day.
