NEPSE Rebounds by 0.80% To Close at 2,777.58 Points ; Finance Sector Sees Highest Gain Among All Indices

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rebounded on Tuesday, posting a double-digit gain of 22.21 points, or 0.80%, to close at 2,777.58, recovering part of the 26.72 point loss recorded in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,758.08 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,777.58 and a low of 2,745.66 before settling higher at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.26 Arba, with 11,385,100 shares traded across 346 companies through 61,527 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.39 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.85 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 46.76 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 439.90.

Kalinchock Hydropower Limited (KHPL) and Led the gainer's list with 14.99%.The stock Closed at Rs.498.20.

Meanwhile, Nabil Debenture 2085 (NBLD85) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.59%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,040.00.

Among sectors, the Finance Index registered the highest gain by 6.03%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded highest fall, falling by 0.42%.
