NEPSE Rebounds 1.54 Points Gain After Four Day Losing Streak; RIDI Leads Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a modest gaini today, inclining by 1.54 points (0.05%) to settle at 2,788.70. This comes after a loss of 17.01 points in the previous trading session on yesterday.

The benchmark index opened at 2795.22 and reached an intraday high of 2,795.98, while the day’s low stood at 2,759.54. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.27 Arba, with 12,174,516 shares traded across 351 companies through 75,229 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.56 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.80 Kharba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 27.38 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 362.00.

In today’s trading session, three companies hit the positive circuit limit of 15%, including MKHL, PCIL and SIPD.

Meanwhile, 10% Prime Debenture 2088 (PBD88) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.59%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,221.10

Among sectors, the Trading Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.58%, while Others Index recorded highest fall, falling by 1.02%.
