NEPSE Plunges to Six-Month Low Level After Seventh Straight Session of Losses

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) extended its losing streak to a seventh consecutive session today, falling 24.63 points (0.93%) to close at 2,608.33.This comes after a fall of 16.54 points in the yesterday trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2631.55 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,638.17 and a low of 2,603.44 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.25 Arba, with 8,737,392 shares traded across 365 companies through 79,286 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.67 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.05 Kharba.

Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 13.39 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 239.30.

Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) Led the gainer's list with 15.00% positive circuits. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 454.20

Meanwhile, Taksar Pikhuwa Khola Hydropower Limited (TPKHL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 14.03%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 596.30.

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest loss by 1.74%, while Development Bank Index recorded least loss, falling by 0.01%.
