NEPSE plunges by double digits; Turnover above Rs 70 crore

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited dipped down huge by 15.08 points or 1.27 percent to close at 1176.26 level.

The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 70.71 crore where more than 10 lakh unit shares were traded thru 2723 transactions.

Opening at 1191 level this afternoon, the local bourse came down to 1170 level till the 2nd trading hour and thereafter remained around that level throughout the day.

Manufacturing and Others were the sector to land in green.

Banking, Hotels, Development, HydroPower plunged by double digits. Insurance loosed in triple digits.

EBL, CHCL, NLICL, CZBIL, NIL, KBL and NBB were among the top traded shares.

BLDBL, NCDBL, KEBL, MLBBL, RBBBL, UNL, APEX and NIL were among the top gainers of the day.

SDBL, SEWA, BUDBL, ICFC, UFL and KBL were the top losers of the day.
