NEPSE Plunged Further 21.22 Points To Close at 1,951.79; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.190 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,951.79 today after losing 21.22 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 1.08%. The index had lost 4.29 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,974.13 and went intraday high at 1,978.00. Then the index made intraday low at 1,947.21 and ultimately closed at 1,951.79.

227 scrips traded hands via 24,622 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,209,983 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.190 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 90.99 Crores.

Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.14 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 422.9 per share. The shares of Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd. (SHPC) traded the most.

Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) gained the highest 9.68% for the day.

On the other side of things, Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd. (SHPC) lost the highest 7.32% today.

Only one sector indices closed green, "Mutual Fund" gained 0.4% while "Finance" lost the highest 2.12%.
