NEPSE Plunged Further 1.10% To Close at 1,973.38; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 1.126 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,973.38 today after losing 21.97 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 1.10%. The index had gained 2.19 points yesterday.
The index opened at 1,993.38 and went intraday high at 1,996.89. Then the index made intraday low at 1,968.41 and ultimately closed at 1,973.38.
224 scrips traded hands via 29,584 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,992,873 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.126 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.019 Arba.
Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 10.74 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 927.9 per share. The shares Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) of traded the most.
RBB Mutual Fund 1 (RMF1) gained the highest 1.97% for the day.
On the other side of things, Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) lost the highest 6.86% today.
All sector indices closed red, "Finance" lost the highest 2.42% while "Banking" lost the least 0.53%.
