NEPSE moves up above 960; gains 4.32 points

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) moved up by 4.32 points or 0.45 percent to close above 960 at 963.46 level.
Also NEPSE Sensitive and Float went up by 1.16 and 0.33 points to close at 205.03 and 67.75 levels respectively.
Opening at 959.14 level this afternoon, the local bourse came down to 956.70 level within the initial trading hour and thereafter climbed up through the day to close at 963.46 level at the end.
Among the sub-indices Banking gained by 5.1 points or 0.61 percent to close at 838.63 level.
Development (814.64) and Insurance (4123.88) also surged by 3.06 and 7.63 points respectively.
HydroPower (2205.14) gained 7.26 points. Similarly Manufacturing (1447.40) and Others (747.19) went up by 1.16 and 7.04 points respectively.
On the contrary Hotels (1996.54) and Finance (540.27) dropped by 23.89 and 0.46 points respectively.
Altogether 337,163 unit shares of 136 companies were traded through 1,396 transactions worth Rs 171.19 million.
Shares of NLICL, CHCL and NBB were traded maximum today.
REDBL, SHBL and CFCL were among the top gainers of the day whereas MPFL, NNBL, KDBL and NBBL were among the top losers of the day.
