NEPSE manages to stay above 980 level; slips 3.43 points

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) slipped down by meager 3.43 points or 0.35 percent to close at 981.42 level.

Similarly Sensitive and Float also plunged by 0.78 and 0.2 points to settle at 208.03 and 68.47 levels respectively.

Among the sub-indices Banking went down by 3.42 points to close at 852.92 level.

Similarly Development (828.2) and Finance (534.46) plunged by 1.18 point and 1.46 point respectively.


Insurance (4315.42) and Manufacturing (1442.81) also dipped down by 46.03 and 5.82 points respectively.

On the contrary, Hotels (2111.66), HydroPower (2249.23) and Others (746.02) gained 0.44 point, 6.27 points and 1.18 point respectively.

Altogether 729,490 unit shares of 144 companies were traded through 1,896 transactions worth Rs 224.59 million.

Shares of National Life, Chilime, Nepal Bangladesh Bank were traded maximum today.

PFCLL, JBBL, KFL and APEX were among the top gainers of the day.
