NEPSE loses more than 25 points in the first 15 minutes; Closes at 1391.46 with Rs. 1.25 Arba Turnover

Even though NEPSE declined more than 25 points in less than 15 minutes after market-open, the market was fairly stable for the rest of the time today.

The stock market showed closed in red today, closing at 1,391.46, 17.33 points (1.23%) down from yesterday's close.

A total of 4,371,854 shares were traded amounting to Rs. 1,259,320,850 in turnover amount. 185 scrips were traded via 21,609 transactions.

Overall 26.68 points volatility was witnessed today, wherein the highest point was 1407.85 and the lowest was 1381.17. The market-open itself was the intraday high today.

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 8.14 crores, while Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) had the second-highest turnover of Rs. 7.71 crores. As a matter of fact, Nepal Bank Limited also had the most shares traded for today.

Float is down by 1.17 points and is currently at 97.55. On the other hand, the Sensitive Index is currently at 288.86 after losing 4.98 points from the previous close.

Sadhana Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SDLBSL) and Chhyangdi Hydropower Company Limited (CHL) hit a 10% positive circuit today.

On the other side, Ankhukhola Hydropower Company Limited (AKJCL) lost the most 7.41% while closing at Rs. 50 per unit.

Only Trading gained a minimal 1.32% today while all others ended red. Manufacturing lost the most 2.14%.
