NEPSE Loses Minimal 0.22% to Settle at 1,973.01 Levels; Indraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 90.99 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,973.01 today after losing 4.29 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.22%. The index had gained 6.68 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,978.3 and went intraday high at 1,987.57. Then the index made intraday low at 1,970.68 and ultimately closed at 1,973.01.

224 scrips traded hands via 21,471 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,444,344 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 90.99 Crores in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.071 Arba.

Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) shares traded the most and had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.96 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 607 per share.

Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) gained the highest 7.43% for the day.

On the other side of things, Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) lost the highest 6.55% today.

Only two sector indices closed green, "Microfinance" gained the highest 0.06% while "Others" lost the highest 1.04%.
