NEPSE Loses 22.58 Points To Settle at 2,505.58; Only One Sector Close at Green While Overall Turnover Stood at 3.1 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing 22.58 points (0.89% ) to settle at 2,505.58. This follows a 19.43 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2527.92, touching an intraday high of 2,528.59, while the lowest point was 2,498.87. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 3.1 Arba, with 7,611,660 shares traded across 318 companies through 35,750 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 41.88 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.21 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 20.54 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,305.00.

Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) led the gainer's list with 6.93%.

Meanwhile, Samaj Laghubittya Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SAMAJ) and Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, the Mutual Fund registered the highest gain, gaining 0.24%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 2.09%.
