NEPSE Loses 0.59% on First Trading Day of the Week to Close at 1,926.28; Intraday Turnover Declined to Rs. 74.72 Crores

The NEPSE index closed at 1,926.28 today after losing 11.47 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.59%. The index had lost 2.13 points last Thursday.
The index opened at 1,938.2 and went intraday high at 1,946.42. Then the index made intraday low at 1,922 and ultimately closed at 1,926.28.
221 scrips traded hands via 20,124 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,524,224 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 74.72 Crores in the turnover amount. This is way lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.044 Arba.
Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI) had the highest turnover of Rs. 3.95 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 406.7 per share. The shares of Sunrise First Mutual Fund (SFMF) traded the most.
Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited (MKJC) gained the highest 4.56% for the day.
On the other side of things, Sanima Large Cap Fund (SLCF) lost the highest 5.37% today.
Only one sector closed green, "Others" gained 0.29% while "HydroPower" lost the highest 1.55%.
