NEPSE Issues Ultimatum to Listed Firms, Sets Deadline for Renewal Fees

Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has issued a notice regarding asking listed companies to pay their annual renewal fee for the fiscal year 2083/84. Listed companies have been given time until the end of Ashoj to clear the fee charges.

Under the fee structure, companies with paid-up capital of upto Rs. 50 crore must pay Rs. 50,000, while those with paid-up capital above Rs. 50 crore msut pay Rs. 100,000.

For debentures and mutual funds, the renewal fee has been set at Rs. 25,000 for paid-up capital up to Rs. 50 crore and Rs. 50,000 for capital above that threshold.

Nepse said companies that fail to pay the fee by the Ashoj deadline with face a 10 percetn fine and their listing could be supsended.
