NEPSE Index Witnessed a Moderate Gain of 8.78 Points; Intraday Turnover At 4.11 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining by 8.78 points (0.33%) to settle at 2,661.71.This comes after a gain of 44.59 points in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2659.59 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,662.01 and a low of 2,625.46 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.11 Arba, with 8,964,223 shares traded across 359 companies through 43,131 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.58 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.38 Kharba.
Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited (LSL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 41.13 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 222.00.
Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited (ULHC), Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) and Kalanga Hydro Limited (KAHL) Led the gainer's list with 14.99% positive circuits.
Meanwhile, 10% NIC Asia Debenture 2085/86 (NICAD85/86) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 10.60%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,130.00.
Among sectors, Banking SubIndex registered the highest gain by 2.04%, while Manufacturing And Processing recorded least gain , gaining by 0.86%.
