NEPSE Index Surges By 34.22 Points To Settle at 2,600.38 ; HBLPO Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at 7.51 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 34.22 points (1.33% ) to settle at 2,600.38. This follows a 5.17 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2568.41, touching an intraday high of 2,605.50, while the lowest point was 2,548.39. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.51 Arba, with 26,010,718 shares traded across 319 companies through 53,112 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.47 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.75 Kharba.

Himalayan Bank Ltd. Promoter (HBLPO) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.1.66 Arba. The stock closed at Rs. 131.00.

Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GLBSL) and Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) led the gainer's list with 10.00%.

Meanwhile, NIBL Stable Fund (NIBLSTF) recorded the steepest drop, falling 5.70%.

Among sectors, HydroPower Index registered the highest gain, gaining 2.67%, while the Mutual Fund saw the highest loss at 0.18%.
