NEPSE Index Spikes Up By 41.70 Points on the Second Trading Day of FY 83/84

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain on the Second trading day of fiscal year 2083/84, gaining 41.70 points (1.55%) to close at 2,719.24. This follows a gain of 79.74 points in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2661.97 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,719.28 and a low of 2,659.53 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 5.51 Arba, with 12,245,337 shares traded across 343 companies through 67,155 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.73 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.75 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 29.15 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 374.40.

Everest Colour Limited (ECL) Led the gainers' list with 14.97%. The stock closed at Rs. 372.40.

Meanwhile, Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 6.86%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 5,700.00.

Among sectors, Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain, gaining by 3.22%, while Mutual Fund recorded highest loss, losing by 0.02%.
