NEPSE Index Skyrockets to 2,571.34 Levels By Significant 62.29 Points ; All Index Close at Green Except Trading Sector

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 62.29 points (2.48% ) to settle at 2,571.34. This follows a 5.19 -point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2506.96, touching an intraday high of 2,576.41, while the lowest point was 2,503.98. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 4.57 Arba, with 9,243,723 shares traded across 314 companies through 47,094 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 42.98 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.60 Kharba.
Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 24.94 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 515.00.
Nyadi Hydropower Limited (NYADI)and Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) led the gainer's list with 10.00%.
Meanwhile, Himalayan Power Partner Ltd. (HPPL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.36%.
Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain, gaining 4.47%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 0.76%.
