NEPSE Index Plummets By 0.47% To Close at 2,676.15 Levels; NRN Leads Turnover

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell by 12.84 points (0.47%) today, closing at 2,676.15, after a loss of 45.93 points in the previous trading session.
The market opened at 2,687.75 and showed fluctuations, reaching an intraday low of 2,662.36 and a high of 2,709.58. The day's turnover stood at Rs. 5.62 Arba, with 62,758 transactions involving 11,523,003 shares from 317 companies.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) recorded the highest turnover, with trades worth Rs. 35.27 crores, closing at Rs. 1,182 per share.
On the gainers' side, Emerging Nepal Limited (ENL) registered the highest growth of 8.76%.
On the other hand, Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) dropped by 10%.
Among the indices, the Manufacturing and Processing Index recorded the highest incline at 1.06% while the Life Insurance Index faced the most significant loss, dropping by 1.67%.
