NEPSE Index Loses For Third Consecutive Day to Close at 2,738.72 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, declining by 5.73 points (0.20%) to settle at 2,738.72. This comes after double digit fall of of 25.81 points in the previous trading session on Yesterday.
The benchmark index opened at 2740.06 and reached an intraday high of 2,745.55, while the day’s low stood at 2,708.34. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.91 Arba, with 10,977,783 shares traded across 346 companies through 80,427 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.71 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.57 Kharba.
Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 26.75 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 3,850.20.
Shreenagar Agritech Industries Limited (SAIL) Led the gainer's list with 12.57%. The Stock closed at Rs. 1,263.00.
Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 10.38%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 2,400.00.
Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain, gaining 0.84%, while Others index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.97%.
