NEPSE Index Loses For Second Consecutive Day to Close at 2,601.92 Points

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit fall today, falling by 19.67 points (0.75%) to settle at 2,601.92.This comes after a loss of 30.09 points in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2619.78 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,620.87 and a low of 2,595.76 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.61 Arba, with 8,751,380 shares traded across 361 companies through 57,864 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.70 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.09 Kharba.

Global IME Bank Limited Debenture 2086/87 (GBILD86/87) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 35.58 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,119.00.

Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ULBSL) Led the gainer's list with 12.68% each. The stock closed at Rs. 3,200.00.

Meanwhile, BOK Debenture 2086 "KA" (BOKD86KA) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.66%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,139.00.

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest loss by 2.36%, while Others Index recorded least loss, losing by 0.18%.
