NEPSE Index Loses 1.20 Points to Close at 2,684.33; Overall Turnover Stood 4.57 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate loss today, falling by 1.20 points (0.04%) to close at 2,684.33. This follows a gain of 12.96 points in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2659.11 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,705.46 and a low of 2,658.08 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.57 Arba, with 11,449,987 shares traded across 349 companies through 63,648 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.13 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.60 Kharba.
Reliance Spinning Mills Limited (RSML) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 27.62 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 2,780.00.
Everest Colour Limited (ECL) led the gainers' list with a 14.99% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 1,505.60.
Meanwhile,10.25% KBL Debenture 2086 (KBLD86) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 8.72%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 1,266.50.
Among sectors, the Mutual Fund recorded the highest fall, falling by 0.49%, while the Trading Index recorded the least loss, down 0.93%.
