NEPSE Index Gains By 6.51 Poins; All Sector Closes Green While Overall Volume Stood at 5.63 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 6.51 points (0.23%) to settle at 2,776.90. This follows a 9.16 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2769.37 touching an intraday high of 2,796.68, while the lowest point was 2,769.23. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.63 Arba, with 13,124,310 shares traded across 316 companies through 61,784 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.37 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.70 Kharba.

United Modi Hydropower Ltd. (UMHL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.31.72 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 582.00

Sanvi Energy Limited (SANVI) led the gainer's list with a 6.98% gain each.

Meanwhile, Narayani Development Bank Limited (NABBC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 6.14%.

Among sectors, the Manufacturing And Processing registered the highest gain, gaining 0.46%, while the Finance Index saw the least gain at 0.02%.
