NEPSE Index Gains 30.75 Points to Close at 2,631.14 ; All Sector Closes at Green Except Trading Index

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 30.75 points (1.18% ) to settle at 2,631.14. This follows a 34.22 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2614.19, touching an intraday high of 2,638.12, while the lowest point was 2,593.67. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.2 Arba, with 29,738,139 shares traded across 319 companies through 68,112 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.98 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.93 Kharba.

Himalayan Bank Ltd. Promoter (HBLPO) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs.1.66 Arba. The stock closed at Rs. 131.00.

Five scrips hit the upper circuit, gaining a maximum of 10% each.

Meanwhile, Khanikhola Hydropower Co. Ltd. (KKHC) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.76%.

Among sectors, Finance Index registered the highest gain, gaining 5.18%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.10%.
