NEPSE Index Falls Below 2,600 Points After Falling for Third Consecutive Day

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single-digit loss, losing 4.82 points (0.18%) to close at 2,598.89. This follows a 9.62 -point loss in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,598.2 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,606.94 and a low of 2,588.96 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.76 Arba, with 12,655,374 shares traded across 352 companies through 47,900 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.70 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.14 Kharba.
Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 39.48 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 271.50.
Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) led the gainer's list with a 14.37% gain. The stock closed at Rs. 444.90.
Meanwhile, Sanima Growth Fund (SAGF) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 3.78%. The last traded price of the company was Rs. 9.41 .
Among sectors, the Trading Index recorded the highest gain, gaining by 1.18%, while Hotels And Tourism Index recorded the highest loss, down 0.54%.
