NEPSE Index Edges Up By 0.88% to Settle at 2,582.18; All Sector Closes at Green Except Trading Index

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 22.59 points (0.88% ) to settle at 2,582.18. This follows a 45.36 -point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2585.73 , touching an intraday high of 2,677.09, while the lowest point was 2,575.51. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 5.27 Arba, with 11,830,077 shares traded across 313 companies through 56,321 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.16 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.69 Kharba.

SHIVAM CEMENTS LTD (SHIVM) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 27.34 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 589.00.

Bindhyabasini Hydropower Development Company Limited (BHDC) led the gainer's list with 8.21%.

Meanwhile, Three Star Hydropower Limited (TSHL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.09%.

Among sectors, the Investment Index registered the highest gain, gaining 1.61%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.48%.
