NEPSE Index Dips By Minimal 0.04% To Close at 2,653.68 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 9.08 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 1.07 points (0.04%) to settle at 2,653.68. This follows a 3.90-point loss in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,654.51, touching an intraday high at 2,662.69, while the lowest point was 2,649.78. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.08 Arba, with 23,446,949 shares traded across 314 companies through 78,013 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.21 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.90 Kharba.

Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd. (SHPC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 71.78 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 649.

Pure Energy Limited (PURE) led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.

Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10%.

Among sectors, the Hydropower Index registered the highest increase, gaining 0.74%, while the Development Bank Index saw the highest loss at 1.25%.
