NEPSE Index Dips By 0.17% to Settle at 2,595.74 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 7.78 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by a minimal 4.45 points (0.17%) to settle at 2,595.74. This follows a 0.33-point loss in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,599.7, touching an intraday high at 2,617.65, while the lowest point was 2,594.71. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 7.78 Arba, with 19,650,210 shares traded across 306 companies through 74,239 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 43.24 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.59 Kharba.
Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 62.52 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 840.10.
Green Development Bank Limited (GRDBL) led the gainers' list with a 9.18% gain.
Meanwhile,Reliable Samriddhi Yojana (RSY) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.30%.
Among sectors, the Development Bank sector registered the highest gain, gaining 1%, while the Hotel and Tourism Index saw the highest loss at 1.87%.
