NEPSE Index Dips By 0.13% To Close at 2,620.39 Levels; Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 9.24 Arba

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lost 3.44 points (0.13%) to close at 2,620.39. This follows an 8.14-point loss in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,627.96, reaching an intraday high of 2,645.67 and a low of 2,619.26. The total turnover stood at Rs. 9.24 Arba, with 21,905,311 shares exchanged across 322 companies through 81,985 transactions. The market's total capitalization was Rs. 43.57 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 14.51 Kharba.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Ltd. (SHPC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 60.48 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 583.10.
Three companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Meanwhile, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB)recorded the steepest drop, falling 10%.
Among sectors, the Finance Index posted the highest decline of 1.30 %, whereas the Manufacturing and Processing Index saw the highest gain of 0.62%.
