NEPSE Index Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain; Plummets 0.45% Today While Volume Stood at Rs. 11.65 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, falling by 12.04 points (0.45%) to settle at 2,661.64, reversing yesterday’s extraordinary gain of 62.25 points.
The benchmark index opened at 2,674.7, touching an intraday high at 2,687.38, while the lowest point was 2,655.79. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 11.65 Arba, with 30,799,091 shares traded across 315 companies through 103,319 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.27 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 14.79 Kharba.
Ngadi Group Power Ltd. (NGPL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 78.45 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 388.50.
Four companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Meanwhile, Sindhu Bikash Bank Ltd (SINDU) recorded the steepest drop, falling 4.83%.
Among sectors, the Finance Index posted the highest increase of 4.30%, whereas the Trading Index saw the highest loss of 2%.
