NEPSE in correction mode; Insurance Sector plunged by 59.85 points

The benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) came down by 1.53 points or 0.13 percent to close at a level of 1173.16.

Opening at the 1174.55 level this afternoon, the local bourse went up  to a level of 1178.05 during the first  trading hour.

Sensitive index and the float index came has came down by 0.17 points and 0. 08 points respectively.

The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 39.57 crore where more than 7 lakh unit shares were traded  through 2,021 transactions.
 
Hydropower, Insurance  and others  sector landed in red, whereas Banking, Development Banks, Hotels, Finance  and Manufacturing and production landed in green. Insurance sector and Hydropower plunged by 59.85 points and 8.33 points respectively.

SEOS, ILFC, NHPC, NICA, KBL,GBIME, LUBL, CZBIL, JBNL, SHL  among the top traded shares.

KNBL, MDB, ARUN, MLBBL, KMCDB, LFLC, MPFL, APEX, RLFL and SFL were among the top gainers of the day.

HDL, GLICL, HAMA, PIC, MTBL, GFCL, NICL, METRO, LICN and SIGS-1, were the top losers of the day.
