NEPSE grows by 3.18 points as market correction is observed; two companies hit the positive circuit today

After losing double digits for two consecutive days, the market corrects itself by 0.25% or 3.18 points. The benchmark index closed at 1255.98 points. The turnover stood at Rs.35.08 Crore achieved through trade of 1,208,342 units of shares traded through 5,676 transactions trading scrips of 166 listed companies in the process.
United Insurance Company (UIC) posted the highest turnover today of Rs.2.38 Crore with LTP at Rs.777 per share. Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 81,362 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.274 per share.
Nepal Agro Laghubitta (NAGRO) hit the positive circuit today as it gained 10% or 54 points and closed at Rs.594 per share. Srijana Finance (SFFIL) also hit the positive circuit, gaining 9.70% or 23 points, and closed at Rs.260 per share. Joshi Hydropower (JOSHI) was today’s top loser as it lost, 3.85% or 3 points and closed at Rs.75 per share.
Sensitive Index gained 1.08 points and closed at 271.11 points while Float Index gained 0.24 points and closed at 92.43 points.
Manufacturing, Life Insurance and Mutual Funds were among the losing sub-indices while the Hotels sub-index remained unchanged. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
