NEPSE Gains Subtly to Close at 2,703.96 Levels; BPCL Leads Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 9.64 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining 9.14 points (0.33%) to settle at 2,703.96. This follows a 34.42-point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,700.17, touching an intraday high at 2,716.93, while the lowest point was 2,685.77. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.64 Arba, with 24,976,366 shares traded across 311 companies through 96,411 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.05 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.31 Kharba.

Butwal Power Company Limited (BPCL) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 31.68 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 794.

Nepal Finance Ltd. (NFS) led the gainers' list with a 9.98% gain each.

Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Bank Ltd (SAPDBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 10.00%.

Among sectors, the Finance Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 4.09%, while the Trading Index saw the highest loss at 1.29%.
