NEPSE Gains Minimal 3.76 Points to Settle at 1,993.02 Levels; Intraday Turnover Stood at Rs. 1.266 Arba

The NEPSE index closed at 1,993.02 today after gaining 3.76 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.19%. The index had lost 33.36 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,989.36 and went intraday low at 1,975.07. Then the index made intraday high at 1,995.78 and ultimately closed at 1,993.02.

222 scrips traded hands via 26,046 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,440,900 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.266 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 2.059 Arba.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 11.25 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 910 per share. The shares Himal Dolakha Hydropower Company Limited (HDHPC) of traded the most.

Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) gained the highest 7.48% for the day.

On the other side of things, Ru Ru Jalbidhyut Pariyojana Limited (RURU) lost the highest 5.70% today.

Nine sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 1.89% while "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 1.12%.
