NEPSE Gains By 0.32 Points to Settle at 2870.95; NRIC Topped the Turnover Among All the Scrips

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today,gaining 0.32 points (0.01%) to settle at 2,870.95. This follows a 75.84-point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,878.39, touching an intraday high of 2,922.84, while the lowest point was 2,861.06. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 21.46 Arba, with 51,658,385 shares traded across 316 companies through 178,176 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.87 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 16.31 Kharba.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 98.55 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,462.10.

Unnati Sahakarya Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (USLB) led the gainer's list with a 10.0% gain each.

Meanwhile, Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 8.88%.

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 3.36%, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss at 2.26%.
