NEPSE gains 4.74 points on the last trading day of week

The Benchmark Index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) stepped up by 4.74 points or 0.5 percent to close at 946.89 level.
Similarly Sensitive and Float gained 0.99 and 0.46 points to settle at 201.88 and 66.78 levels respectively.
Opening at 942.16 this afternoon, the local started gaining points after mid-trading hour and remained around 947 level throughout the day.
Banking surged by 5.83 points or 0.71 percent to settle at 832.27 level.
Trading (200.39) and Hotels (1985.42) however plunged by 3.88 and 5.67 points respectively.
Development Bank (799.64) and Finance (532.01) gained 7.15 points and 0.8 point respectively.
HydroPower (2191.14) and Insurance (3952.96) increased by 15.95 and 7.32 points respectively.
Others dropped by 1.18 point to close at 703.73 level.
Altogether 427,984 unit shares of 131 companies were traded through 1,405 transactions worth Rs 179.77 million which included Rs 4.67 million of manual turnover.
NLIC, PRVU, CHCL and SANIMA were among the most traded shares.
CSDBL, GABL, NIL and KMBL were among the top gainers of the day whereas YETI, HAMA, GBIME and NCCB were the top losers of the day.
