NEPSE gains 21.10 points to close at 1,462.04; Massive Turnover of Rs. 2.65 Arba; Banking sector rises by 1.91%

The stock market gained an impressive 21.10 points (1.46%) today and ultimately closed at 1,462.04.
Overall 22.56 points volatility was observed during trading hours, with the highest point being 1,468.03 and the lowest being the market open at 1445.47.
5,882,101 shares were traded that amounted to a massive Rs. 2.65 Arba in turnover amount.
Meanwhile, 186 scrips were traded via 34,620 transactions. All this figure is significantly higher compared to the recent trading days.
Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest turnover of Rs. 34.92 crores. The shares of NRIC also traded the most today.
The Float index gained 1.56 points to close at 102.21 while the Sensitive index is at 298.74 after gaining 4.77 points.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited gained the most 9.8% today on its first day of trading.
On the other hand, Samriddhi Finance Company Limited (SFCL) lost the most 9.79%.
Trading and Life Insurance lost today while all others ended green. Life Insurance lost the most 0.2% while Banking gained the most 1.91%.
