NEPSE gains 2 points to close at 1102.64 points; ALICL becomes the most traded stock

The market today made minimal movement towards the positive direction. The benchmark index gained 0.19% or 2.06 points and closed at 1102.64 points. Today’s turnover was worth Rs.22.52 Crore which was achieved from trade of 733,422 units of shares traded through 4,327 transactions trading scrips of 174 listed companies in the process.

Asian Life Insurance Company (ALICL) dominated the trade today after posting a turnover of Rs.2.26 Crore which was achieved through trade of 41,695 units of shares. The LTP of the company stands at Rs.540 per share.

Suryodaya Laghubitta (SLBS) was today’s top gainer after it gained 6.44% or 58 points and closed at Rs.959 per share. Sindhu Bikas Bank (SINDU) was today’s top loser after it lost 7.93% or 10 points to close at Rs.116 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.37 points and closed at 234.25 points while Float Index gained 0.16 points and closed at 80.11 points.

Trading and Other were the only sub-indices that lost points today. Trading lost 1.10% while Others lost 0.45%. Rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone with Manufacturing and Processing gaining the most at 1.44%.
