NEPSE Gains 0.11% to Close at 1,995.21; Seven Sectors Close Green Led by "Others"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,995.21 today after gaining 2.19 points from last trading day. This is a gain of 0.11%. The index had gained 3.76 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,993.47 and went intraday high at 2,012.18. Then the index made intraday low at 1,987.39 and ultimately closed at 1,995.21.

226 scrips traded hands via 20,858 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 2,914,505 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.019 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a lower than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.266 Arba.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 9.57 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 940 per share. The shares Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) of traded the most.

Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited (UHEWA) gained the highest 8.45% for the day.

On the other side of things, Wean Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (WNLB) lost the highest 4.77% today.

Seven sector indices closed green, "Others" gained the highest 2.29% while "Finance" lost the highest 0.88%.
