NEPSE further grows by 2.53 points and closes at 1305.49 points; four companies hit the positive circuit today

The market today gained 0.19% or 2.53 points and closed at 1305.49 points. The turnover today was worth Rs.75.68 Crore achieved from trade of 2,412,962 units of shares traded through 9,148 transactions trading scrips of 164 listed companies in the process.

In terms of turnover, Shivam Cements (SHIVM) stood ahead with turnover of Rs.16.44 Crore followed by Prabhu Bank (PRVU) with turnover of Rs.16.16 Crore. In terms of volume, PRVU stood ahead with trade of 592,141 units of shares followed by SHIVM with trade of 265,038 units of shares.

Four companies hit the positive circuit today namely, Jyoti Bikas Bank (JBBL), Reliance Finance (RLFL), Shivam Cements (SHIVM) and Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS). Today’s top loser was Mountain Hydro Nepal Limited (MHNL) after it lost 6.66% or 7 points and closed at Rs.98 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.20 points and closed at 277.81 points while Float Index gained 0.10 points and closed at 95.54 points.

Hotels, Non-Life Insurance, Others, Life Insurance and Microfinance were among losing sub-indices while rest of the sub-indices ended in the green zone after gaining points.
