NEPSE Falls by Single Digit; Reaches 2700 Points - Turnover falls to 3.41 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single digit fall today, falling by only 5.06 points (0.18%) to settle at 2,700.47. This comes after a small gain of 0.08points in the Yesterday's trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,698.34 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,709.79 and a low of 2,692.76 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.41 Arba, with 7,743,030 shares traded across 347 companies through 41,104 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.14 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.51 Kharba.

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 31.98 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 381.00.

Appolo Hydropower Limited (APHL) Led the gainer's list with 15.00% positive circuit. The stock Closed at Rs. 796.60.

Meanwhile, Global IME Balanced Fund-1 (GIBF1) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 4.59%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 10.61.

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest gain by 0.31%, while Others Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.856%.
