NEPSE Falls by Minimal 0.05% to Close at 1,972.29; Seven Sectors Closed Green Led by "Finance"

The NEPSE index closed at 1,972.29 today after losing 1.08 points from last trading day. This is a loss of 0.05%. The index had lost 21.97 points yesterday.

The index opened at 1,972.98 and went intraday low at 1,953.58. Then the index made intraday high at 1,982.34 and ultimately closed at 1,972.29.

225 scrips traded hands via 29,162 transactions. Furthermore, a total of 3,955,886 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.383 Arba in the turnover amount. This is a higher than last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.126 Arba.

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC) had the highest turnover of Rs. 12.27 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 915 per share. The shares of Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) traded the most.

Himalayan Everest Insurance Limited (HEI) gained the highest 10% and hit positive circuit for the day.

On the other side of things, Rapti Hydro And General Construction Limited (RHGCL) lost the highest 4.38% today.

Seven sector indices closed green, "Finance" gained the highest 1.31% while "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 0.06%.
