NEPSE faces meager dip of 0.37 points; Turnover above Rs 300 million.

NEPSE Index closed at 984.06 level with meager plunge of 0.37 point or 0.04 percent.

NEPSE Sensitive dipped 0.06 point whereas Float surged 0.49 point to close at 209.13 and 69.18 levels respectively.

Opening at 984.43 level this afternoon the local bourse faced meager ups and downs through the day.

Banking gained 0.36 point or 0.04 percent to close at 857.52 level.

Development (828.33) and Finance (542.56) plunged by meager 0.81 and 0.15 points respectively.

HydroPower (2253.28) and Hotels (2028.21) plunged by 6.07 points and 8.71 points respectively whereas Manufacturing gained 2.33 points to close at 1443.51 level.

Insurance dropped by double digit of 20.85 points to close at 4285.99 level whereas Others (755.42) surged by 3.53 points.

Altogether 697,908 unit shares of 151 companies were traded through 1,725 transactions worth Rs 310.28 million.

More than 30 percent trading were done of National Life Insurance Promoter Shares where the buyer and seller broker were 59 and 49 respectively.

Share Price of Civic Development and Bagmati Development surged almost 10 percent today.

NABB, MBBl, REDBL and VBBL were among the top losers of the day.
